Why do we employ Nurse Practitioners?
Nurse Practitioners are a valuable part of our provider staff for many reasons. Our NP staff has been trained in both Family Medicine and in the practice of Urology. This double knowledge base provides our patients with care that considers not only your specific urologic condition but also general health concerns that may be contributing factors. Our NPs and Physician providers closely collaborate on your care to ensure the best possible health outcome. NPs are able to see patients both in tandem with the Physician when he is in clinic and when he is called out to the Hospital to perform emergent surgical procedures. This allows us to avoid long delays in clinic as well as ensuring short wait times for appointments.
